Instrumentation, Controls and Automation Technician
TM Electrical Solutions is currently looking for a Controls and Automation Technician to join our ever-growing team! Interested parties must be able to troubleshoot diverse controls systems. Must be able to program PLC, HMI and VFD’s. Instrumentation experience including calibration, installation, repair and inspection with SMART devices.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience
· PLC and HMI programming
· Configuring VFD’s and soft starts
· Calibration and configuration of instrumentation
· Troubleshoot diverse control systems
REQUIREMENTS:
· Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain
· Wear PPE (hardhat, glasses, ETC)
· Able to work 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required
· Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching
· Able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds, pushing and pulling of objects is required with repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
· Familiar with industrial installation methods (i.e. GRC, Robroy, cable tray, duct bank, ECT)
· OSHA 10/30 AND/OR MSHA Certifications
· Proficient with PLC control systems ladder logic, HMI’s, VFD’s and instrumentation
· Clean driving record’
